When her dad began having chest pains, she didn’t just stand by – she sprang into action, dialing 911.
However, there were parts of her call that had the internet and the dispatchers chuckling.
Fortunately, she knew just what to do.
With the clarity and purpose of someone far beyond her years, Savannah communicated the seriousness of her dad’s condition to the 911 operator.

When Jason Bonham, the 911 operator, answered Savannah’s call, her words were simple but filled with urgency:
“Um… my dad can’t hardly breathe.”
Bonham wasted no time, immediately sending an ambulance their way.
Savannah’s earnest request, “OK… you need to come reaalll fast!” captured the pure sincerity only a child could express.
Bonham, keeping his cool, assured Savannah that help was on the way, and began to gather more details.
“Yes, he’s awake,” she confirmed, showing an incredible presence of mind about her dad’s condition.
Savannah didn’t just stop at calling for help.
She also made sure the house was accessible for the emergency responders, unlocking the door as instructed by Bonham.
As they awaited the ambulance, she comforted her dad with a simple, “Don’t worry Dad!” showcasing her remarkable composure and love for her daddy.
