There’s something about the sound of a baby’s laugh that just fills the heart with joy. Something about the pureness of an infant’s chuckle that just makes one happy. It’s a primal response, but one that brightens up the day of even the most cold-hearted of people.
And it means that if you get the chance to make a baby laugh, you WILL take it.
Which is why this video of a Romanian dad making his baby son laugh is making people’s days brighter all over the world.
It’s not a very sophisticated joke, but one that apparently for this baby does not have diminishing returns. It’s clearly the funniest thing this baby has ever seen, and it all starts, with a phone.
When this dad answers the phone, comically reacting to “whoever” is on the other end of the line, it makes for classic comedy.
Well, at least it does for this young one. When Dad answers the phone enthusiastically, and picking a pretend argument with whomever is supposedly there, the baby cracks up into an explosion of adorable laughter.
The dad in question is a dance instructor in his Romanian dance school, “Scoala De Dans”.
With many children’s classes, this man knows how to keep kids having fun, if that wasn’t clearly evidenced by how much he can make his own son laugh.
So what is the genius of this comedian you may ask?
Well, it’s simple: You pick up the phone, and pretend to be having a heated conversation. And that’s…kind of it. If you think that joke may get tired, you would be sorely mistaken.
As soon as Dad hangs up the phone again, this kid does the equivalent of yelling “encore!”
He grabs the phone himself and forcefully gives it back to his comedian dad. And every time he repeats the joke and returns the phone to its base, the baby immediately grabs it and demands the joke again.
And so the joke continues. Again. And Again.
Every time the joke is repeated however, it seems to get even funnier to the baby somehow. At one point he even gets handed the phone himself, but still it’s Dad on the phone that really gets this kid going. And needless to say, the harder this baby laughs, the more adorable it is.
So if you ever need to brighten up your day, make sure to keep this video close at hand.

As this cute child has grown up, he has stayed laughing. For instance all it takes if for this dog to jump past him in the snow in another video of Dad’s, and he’s in hysterics yet again. So long as the dog keeps doing it, it keeps getting funnier.
