Babies are so pure with their reactions to new things that it can be incredibly fun to see what they do in new situations.

Combine that with their heavy attachment to their parents, and you can watch hilarious videos, especially if their mom has a twin.

Dainius Sileika and Christine Wons got married in September 2012.

Fast forward to May 2015, when their son was 10 months old and got to meet Christine’s twin sister, Steph, for the very first time.

The result is just as hilarious as you expect it to be.

At the beginning of the video, someone else is holding the baby off-screen and brings him over as Christine’s sister comes in the front door. Steph says, “Hello” as she arrives, and the baby’s reaction at 0:14 is priceless, with a face that looks excited and somewhat confused at the same time.

He instantly goes right into his aunt’s arms, probably assuming it is his mother. He maintains the confused expression, however, even at 0:24, conveying that he knows something is not right.

We see the baby look at his Aunt Steph and reach for her face before turning his head to look where his mom is presumably standing off-screen. Steph sums it up perfectly, saying, “I don’t think he knows what to do.”

You can’t blame Dainius and Christine’s baby for being confused by the entire situation.

After all, what would you do if you suddenly saw someone who looks just like your mother?

After a few more seconds of his confused expression, Christine (still off-screen) says, “That’s your Aunt Steph.”

Although the baby remains confused, he does start to warm up to his Aunt Steph, reaching for her shirt and getting a bit closer by 0:59.

Unfortunately, neither Dainius nor Christine posts much on social media, so we can’t see how their baby has adjusted to his mom being a twin.

We do, however, have some other adorable photos of their baby in his first year or so of life, such as when he was still just a newborn.

Or here, when he was about 11 months old, wearing a cute pair of overalls and enjoying the outdoors. In this photo, it seems clear that his father’s style has rubbed off on him (or Dainius at least has a say in picking his clothes).

On the baby’s first birthday, he got to enjoy a delicious piece of chocolate cake. We wonder whether or not Aunt Step was at his party to help confuse him.

Based on the few pictures on social media, it is clear that the whole family is doing well.

Dainius and Christine are Canadian and lived in Ottawa for a while. According to their Facebook profiles, they now live in Vilnius, Lithuania, although Dainius is a sergeant with the Black Watch of Canada as part of the Canadian Forces.

The fact that they now live in Lithuania makes perfect sense, as Dainius is a third-generation Canadian with Lithuanian roots. According to an article in 15MIN.LT, they made their decision to move to Lithuania in 2013. Dainius explained their decision to the website, saying:

“If I care about the history of Lithuania, if I want my children to speak Lithuanian, there’s no better place to raise them.”

Since they live in Lithuania, there is no doubt that Dainius and Christine’s baby will be fluent in both Lithuanian and English, giving him a foot up in the world.
