Parents often fall in love with their babies the moment they lay eyes on them. So it’s not surprising that when looking at their tiny face – all a parent might want to do is say “I love you” over and over again.
One mom from New York couldn’t help but tell her 10-week-old son how much she loved him. While that’s not out of the ordinary, what was is that he actually said it back! Luckily a camera was rolling and now the adorable footage is going viral.
Kesia Cameron is the mom of little Roan. When he was two-and-a-half months old, she laid him on her lap for some bonding time together.
In the video, she so sweetly talks to her son (who is as cute as a button), telling him, “Good job!” Roan is looking up at his mommy and seems to be engaged.
She then speaks three words that come straight from the heart.
While gently touching the baby’s belly, Kesia tells her son, “I love you!”
Surely it’s a phrase that she has said to him many times before. And how could she not? He’s so darn precious! But with Roan only being 10-weeks-old – likely the last thing Kesia expected was that he would repeat it back.
Then it happens.
Roan opens his tiny mouth and the words slowly pop out. It completely sounds like he says “I love you!”
Understandably, Kesia and the camera person flip out over what they heard. She immediately covers her mouth out of shock. I mean, it’s not very often that a parent hears their baby say, “I love you,” at such a young age.
Even the baby’s reaction is priceless.
With everyone in the room going wild, he has the cutest expression. One person pointed out:
“he’s looking like, what’s the big deal guys?! Love it!!”
Roan’s proud grandma, Lara Skadsen, decided to share the incredible clip on TikTok.
She captioned the short video on her “energyrising” account:

Not only did it go viral on the social media site, but it’s made headlines as well. Laura’s TikTok video currently has 1.1 million views and over 136K “likes.”
It’s like a scene out of a movie.
Typically tiny babies are all coos and gurgles – that is unless you’re watching television or a movie, of course. We seem to be fascinated with the idea of talking babies, perhaps why it’s the plot of lovable classics like Rugrats and Look Who’s Talking.

Yet, this isn’t a made-up film, and it really does sound like Roan says, “I love you!” A lot of TikTok users think that Mommy and Daddy have a little genius on their hands.
