A babies first words are a big moment. When they finally learn to say momma or dada, everyone gets excited. But that doesn’t happen until the baby is quite a few months old. Whats really impressive is that this baby is only a few months old and so close to getting some words out to sing with his church family.
While sitting in the pews of a church, this woman starts out by singing to the little baby a song about Jesus. Little did she, or any of her family near her, know that the little baby was feeling the love and wanting to sing right back to her. Luckily someone was quick enough to capture the tender moment on camera.
He’s just looking up at the woman with his big puppy dog eyes and what he does next amazes everyone.
He starts singing back. Not the exact words of course but it’s clear he’s trying his hardest to get those words out so he can sing along with the woman holding him. He’s making eye contact, and it looks like he’s thinking so hard about the words to the song and trying his absolute best to mimic what she sings.
The woman holding him has a beautiful voice, and is probably used to sining in the church choir singing praises and prayers instead of giving voice lessons to a baby.
Everyone around them is loving it. The baby is absolutely adorable and everyone is mesmerized by him, “He’s going to get the Holy Ghost tonight!” says one behind camera. The baby is so accurate in mimicking the woman it even sounds like he’s singing hallelujah!
Lucky for us the camera person posted the video to Youtube. Since it was posted, the video has gained over a million views and comments, and thousands of likes because who could possible dislike a video as sweet as this?
The comments were also filled with positivity. Whether they were admiring the cuteness or the fact that he so much talent for a baby. “…AND he’s singing on key!” said one user. “It was beautiful. When children sing the heavens and the gates open.”said another user.
As this baby grows up in this church, surrounded by music and his sining family, he’s only going to get better. Pretty soon this little baby will be leading the choir someday.
