Whether we realize it or not, children pick up on everything we say and do around them. Even infants are able to identify and mimic our emotions and facial expressions.
“As early as the first month, your child will begin to experiment with making faces at you,” writes babycenter.com. “He’ll enjoy watching your face and may even mimic some of your gestures. Stick out your tongue and watch as he does the same. He’s also listening and learning from the sounds you make.”
Children will start making sounds to form words around 6 to 7 months.
“Toward the end of your baby’s first year, he’ll babble in longer strings of varied short nonsense syllables, using the intonation and rhythm mimicking that of an adult,” Play on Words founder and speech pathologist Sherry Artemenko told Parents.
Though a baby’s first words are typically, “dada”, “mama,” “baby”, “ball,” “doggie”, “book”, or “hi,” Gabriel Jones’ son learned how to say “Oh no!”
His parents would say it to him after he would sneeze and learned to mimic their reaction. He must be a big sneezer to have learned to speak at such a young age.
Parents Magazine says that newborns tend to sneeze a lot even if they are coming down with a cold. This is how they clear their nasal and respiratory passages.
“When a mom nurses and her baby is pressed up against her, his nose might be flattened or one nostril pushed shut,” Dr. Glade Curtis told Parents. “After feeding, the baby will take a breath or sneeze to open his nose again.”
The little baby in the video is showing sneezing and says “oh no” looking up at the adults around him.
“That’s was so cute,” gushes the woman in the video.
And it absolutely was, this baby has the sweetest little voice.
The internet has absolutely fallen in love with it as the video has been viewed more than 3.5 million times.
“Why can’t I look cute like this when sneezing,” said one YouTube user.
“That has got to be the greatest among the cutest,” said another.
“Hoooowww?? Shes way too young to be saying things omg,” another commented.
“What a heavenly voice!,” said a YouTube User.
