Performing a cute and heartwarming gender reveal for a woman’s pregnancy is a trend that has gained popularity over the last few years.

The gender reveal is a tender moment between the expecting couple. Regardless of one’s expectations or guesses, from that moment forward, you are one step closer to meeting your little one and bringing them into the world.

(Not to mention baby names, because I love thinking of baby names.)

Some of the best examples of a gender reveal go viral, such as this case.

In a less than 10-second clip, a woman throws her partner a baseball – then he goes wild.

This baseball is not just any baseball though. The ball is filled with colored chalk powder, and once it’s hit by his baseball bat, either a blue or pink chalk powder will reveal.

When the man hit the ball, the colored chalk turned out to be…

…pink!

And this ecstatic dad couldn’t be happier.

Another couple had a similar idea of a baseball throwing gender reveal, as seen in the video below.

This expecting pair hit their gender reveal out of the ballpark.

California couple Monique Tello and her boyfriend, Steven Statter, threw a gender reveal baseball party.

The couple got their friends and family involved by having them dress in either blue or pink to represent their guess for their baby’s gender.

When it was time to do the reveal, Monique also threw a baseball filled with specifically colored chalk powder for the grand reveal.

From there, Steven struck the ball with a powerful hit, sending the chalk powder flying.
