One noticeable thing about the coronavirus pandemic is that it seems to be bringing out people’s creative sides. Families are dancing in their living rooms, chalking up their driveways, and discovering unique ways to celebrate birthdays. If you pay attention to social media you’ll see a lot of thinking outside the box!

A pair of brothers from San Francisco warmed the internet’s heart with what they cleverly put together for their parents’ anniversary.

Jacqui and Brenden Brown had a trip planned to celebrate their 15-year wedding anniversary. But because of the coronavirus, they had to cancel it.

That didn’t mean they couldn’t still have a special day though.

The couple’s two sons, nine-year-old Jentzen and 11-year-old Jayden, came up with a sweet idea for their parents. Since the Browns couldn’t actually go out to a restaurant, the boys decided they’d create their own – right there at home.

The Browns woke up on their anniversary to an amazing surprise from their kids.

Jentzen and Jayden were all dressed up and their dining area had been turned into a romantic restaurant. Each boy had a role too – Jentzen was the waiter, while Jayden was the cook.

The brothers led their parents from their bedroom to the “restaurant,” where there was a beautifully set table, menus, and anniversary cards they’d made.

Jacqui and Brenden were full of smiles sitting down at the table for their special breakfast. Their older son Jayden explained:

“This is your waiter, I am your cook. That is the menu, you can order. Maybe even tip the waiter and the cook if you would want to.”

You can tell when a meal is made with love. In this case, it was the main ingredient.

Waiter Jentzen served dad the yummy breakfast his brother prepared, a big bowl of cereal. Brenden was excited about the dish and responded:

“Wow, looks amazing! I’m going to have to try this. Mmm… That’s delicious guys … It could be the best Frosted Flakes I’ve ever had in my life.”

What romantic date would be complete without entertainment? Apparently, there was some of that too.

Jacqui and Brenden were treated to singing and guitar playing while enjoying the restaurant experience. You gotta give these youngsters credit – they really thought of everything!

The Browns were so touched by their sons’ anniversary surprise that Jacqui shared the photos and videos on Instagram.

She proudly told everyone:

“The most beautiful surprise from our two boys, they woke us up early, they dressed up, set the table and created their own restaurant with a menu, handwritten cards, sang to us and served us. My heart bursts ♥️. We will never forget our 15th. They have made it so special XO”
