When Frank met his wife, she already had a five-year-old daughter, Aryanna.
The man loved his girlfriend very much and he had decided to build a strong bond with the woman’s daughter, too. After all, if the couple ended up getting married, the girl would be his stepdaughter.
Building a bond with the little girl was not difficult at all. It seemed that Frank was just meant to be a father, and Aryanna soon realized that this man loved her mom and that he would be the perfect addition to their family.
Seven years passed, and, finally, the time came for Frank to marry his girlfriend.
And a video from their wedding has gone viral over the last few weeks for a good reason.
It’s not about a funny moment, but about a touching one, one that brings tears to our eyes.
And, if you thought that the moment that will make you tear up is one between the bride and groom, well, guess again because this is not the case here.
It was a moment shared between the bride’s daughter and the groom, and this makes the whole thing even more unique.
As you can see in the video below, right in the middle of the wedding ceremony, 12-year-old Aryanna interrupts the process, and she hands Frank an envelope.
“I’ve waited 2,555 days for this moment,” Aryanna says. “Frank, will you be my dad?” she asks.
While the girl says these words, she can hardly hold back her tears. The same goes for her mom who is right by her side, holding her tight.
Frank, too, is starting to tear up as he hears these words, and as he opens the envelope.
Indeed, inside he finds the adoption papers needed for him to make Aryanna his official daughter.
Just like Aryanna and the couple, all the bridesmaids in the background- and, we’re sure, the guests present, too- start tearing up.
Frank hugs the girl and tells her that he loves her. And, of course, he does. He has been part of her life for more than seven years. By this moment, he feels like he’s her dad for real. The only thing pending was sealing the deal with an official adoption.
And, what would be a better day to do this than Frank’s wedding day!
Aryanna and Frank later shared a sweet father-daughter dance during the reception, and it was the most beautiful sight.

And, while adopting a stepchild is not a simple process, there are people like Frank out there who step up and go through it in order to make their spouse’s child feel part of an official family.
It’s just lovely when such strong bonds and honest relationships develop within families.
