There are few things more beautiful than the innocent and pure voice of a child. Maybe that’s why little Claire Ryann Crosby is so popular and has a mass following on YouTube.
She has the sweetest little voice that will bring a tear to your eye and could warm the coldest of hearts.
Claire makes music with her dad Dave and has her very own YouTube channel that has more than 758,000 subscribers.
It all started when Claire was just 3-years-old and she and her parents made a video of the song “Part of Your World” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
That video alone got more than 15 million views on YouTube. And 2016 ended up being a huge year for little Claire. She ended up doing a lot more videos, appeared on TV, and was even in a movie.
She made lots of new friends and fans.
“I love to sing and thank you for loving my songs!” she told Parents Magazine in a message to her fans.
Claire definitely gets her musical talents from her dad who grew up playing music and started playing guitar at age 12. It wasn’t long before he and his wife Ashley, who were college sweethearts, found out that their daughter had the most beautiful voice.
Here they are singing “You Got a Friend in Me” from the movie Toy Story in a video that got more than 18 million views!
“Claire learned to talk at a super young age and we noticed really early on that she could carry a pitch,” Dave told Parents. “I remember some time after her first birthday, she was slamming her hands on our little keyboard in the living room. She started hitting the same note over and over, and then she began to sing the exact same note. I was sure at that moment that she was going to be able to sing.”
And he was absolutely correct.
He discovered just how talented she was one day when they were in the waiting area when he was getting an oil change and she began to sing the song from The Little Mermaid.
She had the entire waiting room in awe and people even began to pull out their cell phones to record her impromptu performance. That gave him the idea to record a video on YouTube.
Now millions and millions of people listen to her sing all the time on YouTube.
But Claire, who is now 5, isn’t really sure if she wants to pursue a career in music when she gets older.
When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she said, “I want to be a princess hair trimmer girl.”
