Dads will do anything for their daughters. May it be dancing in front of a crowd, cheering them during performances or beauty subjects for their YouTube makeup tutorial. One father deserves the Best Dad Ever Award for his outstanding performance and love for his daughter.
Dads, like moms, are the pillars of support for the development of a child. They influence who we are and our relationship with other people. They serve as our role models on how we should treat others. Moreover, we look up to them to provide security, both physically and emotionally.
For young girls, they see their fathers as their source of emotional support. They feel secure whenever their father is around. Furthermore, their fathers are their role models for a good relationship. When they look for a man, they often compare them to their father, especially if a father is loving, gentle, and strong.
Aside from these qualities, Dads can be funny and outgoing too. They love to make their kids laugh that they often put on a good show. This is what one dad did to his daughter.
Mike Hanley prepared a surprise for his 13-year old daughter, Jessica, during her Bat Mitzvah.
A Bat Mitzvah ceremony is a special event for a Jewish girl, which celebrates her coming of age in the religious community. During the ceremony, Mike walked up to her daughter and took her hand to dance.
They danced to the song “My Girl” by The Temptations which is the perfect tearful song during a father-daughter moment.
The two slow danced in front when the song changed to “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston. Jessica jumped back and began dancing while Mike stood hilariously shaking his head.
Little did the guest know, it was the start of an awesome father and daughter performance.
The next song started to play and with it, Mike and Jessica gave the audience a different dance move to go along with the song. Their dance moves were a mixture of flying like Superman, zombies move for “Thriller,” and even threw in some “Macarena.”
They ended their performance with a slow dance while the song “My Girl” played in the speakers.
Mike, who is a comedian, did not disappoint in making the guests laugh.

The video of their performance was uploaded on YouTube and it has been viewed over 23 million times. To date, it has 31,000 thumbs up.
Practicing those routines would have taken weeks. It surely must have been a priceless experience for they get to spend time together and bond.
