Not all kids can open up to their parents about their personal problems especially if it’s about their love life. Some kids who have strict parents just know the struggle.

If your kid happened to confess that he has a crush then don’t be mad about it. Be curious.
Ask them some questions and make them feel that you’re interested in what they’re saying. This way, you can maintain the “door of communication open“.
Apart from that, use that moment to explain and remind them of the things that they should keep in mind.
Gain their trust.
Always be willing to listen to them. So that they will always open up to you with every problem that might come their way.
This kid had a different way of confessing his love problem to his dad.
You know why? It’s because it’s too funny.
He even made sure that he was able to film the whole thing.
When he said to his father that he was “kinda sad”, his dad was serious.
So, dad immediately asked why.
“My girlfriend dumped me today,” the kid replied.
Then, the clever child uttered the words that made his dad laugh loud and hard.
“Because I said ‘my love for her is like diarrhea and now I can’t hold it in’.”
His dad didn’t respond with words because he couldn’t. He was laughing too hard.
