It’s so sweet when a parent decides to have a little heart to heart with their child. Kids go through stages and it is a parent’s job to guide them and when needed, talk to them about certain situations that need to be addressed.
For this dad, he decided to start them young. Really young.
Four weeks young and dad wants a serious conversation.
It doesn’t matter if this baby girl can’t understand a single word her dad is saying. Dad just wants a word regarding her crying. Now how the conversation went is an entirely different matter. She has the makings of a “daddy’s girl”.
Dads will go above and beyond for their children.
Dad picks up his tiny daughter wrapped in a blanket. The baby looks intently at him as he goes.
“You were sitting very quietly and all of a sudden you started crying and I need to know why.”
What does the tiny princess do? She gives her dad a sweet smile.
Mom says she’s been smiling since her first week too!
Well dad doesn’t look convinced but he continues to press on giving her first lecture. He can’t help but smile himself though. Not sure if he is expecting an answer but it looks like her charms are winning him over.
She continues to give him an adorable look and she’s not shying away from using those eyes.
Well dad needs a new plan of attack. He knows he’s never going to get answers so he takes to conversation to a different direction. He tries to tell her what to do.
“There is no crying. You’re an adult now. You’re almost four weeks old. There is no more crying. No more crying. You will only smile from now on, got it? Only smiling, no crying. Smiling. Only smiling.”
Dad is trying his best but mom cannot help herself. She starts laughing at the dramatic moment in front of her. Come on, mom!
Mom and dad are supposed to be a team but this little one has divided and conquered.
Can’t imagine why dad is so caught up with her crying. Mom knows there will be a lot more crying than that in the future. Lighten up, dad!
Dad better be prepared to do a lot of carrying and consoling
The exchange is so precious. All she does is gaze up at him and smile. You have to wonder how many times dad’s heart melted during this little chat.
But why was she crying? Did she want something? After all, she smiled when dad picked her up. Was that it?
One of the viewers decided to weigh in.
“Haha she’s grinning because she has her Daddy wrapped around her wee little finger. Especially now that she’s almost an adult. Bahaha. Just love this. Mum’s in the background giggling coz she knows this little angel is going to get what ever she wants with her Dad.”
So that’s it! She got you, dad!
The little burrito wanted some TLC from her daddy.
She’s only a few weeks old and already she knows how to get her daddy’s attention and affection. Watch out, dad, this will go on until she’s a real adult. Be careful what you wish for.
