“Okay, I’m gonna attempt to scare the crap out of my kids.”
Those are the first words out of this dad’s mouth as he draws us into his absolutely terrifying world of puppet Zombies, eerie sound effects, and a gaslighting dad joke that he takes to the next level!
If it were any other time but Halloween, his behavior would be considered borderline psychotic!
If his kids don’t forgive him, well then the joke will be on him!
Because he’ll be the one crying rivers of zombie flesh after he’s forced to shell out tens of thousands of dollars for therapy.
Zombies have been trending for well over a decade now, and even the Centers for Disease Control made a tongue-in-cheek jab at Zombie Preparedness.
In fact, zombies are so normal that we almost think of them as family…unkempt, smelly, face-eating family.
So what makes this one so terrifying?
Well, Dad is super talented and he’s gone to great lengths to make sure that his zombie puppet has its intended effect on his unsuspecting children.
He’s even hidden a remote-control sound system inside of it.
And the bone-chilling guttural noises this zombie makes will have you peeing your pants!
Since the sound system is connected directly to his smartphone, it’s a pee parade every time he clicks the button! That’s enough to scar anyone for life.
Dad has obviously planned this out so that his elaborate prank is flawless.
And the moment of truth is just beyond that door.
Will his kids believe that the zombie’s death grip is as wickedly real as it looks?
As soon as he opens the door and the kids get a peek and what’s happening, blood-curdling screams pierce the air.
It’s his daughter crying out in terror.
Being the nice dad that he is, he walks into the hallway and tells his kids “it’s okay” to try to smooth things over.
But of course, he’s just gaslighting them because it’s not okay. With a psychotic glee in his eyes (aka Jack Nicholson in The Shining), Dad immediately chases them up the stairs.
And then you have to wonder – exactly who is holding the camera and filming the whole thing?
Because if it’s not creepy Uncle Bob from the backwoods of Alabama, then the culprit has to be Mom!
Thankfully the screams of terror are soon replaced with giggles and laughter. After they realized what was going on, the kids found the zombie attack to be quite funny.
It’s hard to stay mad at your goofy dad for being a big kid at heart.
It was all just fun and games. Everyone’s pants were still dry (probably).
Although the identity of this man is unknown, he’s certainly incredibly talented at turning people’s underwear into a makeshift diaper.
Craftiness like this deserves to be watched over and over again.
