Dad’s are not usually known for their hairstyling tricks, especially with their daughters. This dad is defying that stereotype and even doing his daughter’s hair in a way to bring a smile to her face.
This dad knows how to make his daughter’s hair be stylish and he is letting her have some fun while doing it.
All parents know the struggles of getting their kids ready in the morning. Everyone is still half awake, no one wants to be moving so fast and the house can quickly become grumpy. Then, when you add having to do your daughter’s hair, it can turn into screams and chaos. The “it hurts” and “no” screams will make any parent want to cut their kids hair short, but parents still push through every morning.
The Colon family is no different than anyone else’s, except for their dad’s hair tricks.
Lely, their daughter, was letting her daddy do her hair, as the mom recorded. Lely did not seem to be in the mood to be recorded. When asked if she could say “good morning,” Lely refused. She dis not seem to be too impressed with her dad brushing her hair either. She winces when he brushes at time too. This is a morning routine that all parents can relate to.
What makes this any different than most parents hair styling?
The entire mood in the bathroom shifts once Lely’s dad says,
“I’ll let you know. Are you ready?”
Ready for what you might ask?
Lely’s daddy tells her to start spinning and Lely is more than ready to spin. Lely’s dad holds on to her hair, that has been pulled back, as she spins in circles. Her spinning is making her hair start to form into a bun. It is a unique way of creating a bun hairstyle and the smile on Lely’s face says it all.
Lely went from not wanting to say “good morning” to smiling wide and spinning in circles.
This is one daddy trick that all parents should try out for themselves. Any way to create a good morning routine is worth its weight in gold. The spinning hair bun made Lely smile, her mother laugh, the dad to complete her hair with no argument and even interested the family dog. That dog has no idea what is going on but he wants in on the activity!
Lely is so impressed with the way her daddy creates hair buns that she even asks him to give her dolls the same style!
The Colon family posted a second video of Lely asking her dad to give her doll a bun in the same way. This dad cannot say no to his adorable daughter and they team up to let her doll spin for a bun. This is not just any doll, mind you, her doll is Rapunzel with the flowing, long hair. This time it is Lely that holds the hair, while her daddy spins Rapunzel over and over until she gets her own spinning hair bun.
