Little JoJo Lomelino takes her flower girl duty very seriously. And this wasn’t her first rodeo.
The 4-year-old, who has played the role of flower girl a few times, considered herself a wedding pro just a few days before the big event.
Since she knew everything there is to know about being a flower girl, weddings, and how they work, she decided to school her dad.
Her dad decided to record it since she had so much to say.
And she got pretty brutal with him.
At one point, JoJo told her dad, “You do not understand wedding at all.”
He thought this was pretty hilarious.
That’s because her dad is actually a pastor who has officiated over 20 weddings.
So, not only does he know how weddings work, but he’s actually an expert.
But that’s not how JoJo saw it, and she needed to make sure her dad was in check before the wedding.
She flat at told him that he wasn’t at a wedding, so “you don’t know what weddings look like.”
He didn’t have the heart to tell her, so he just kept recording.
“But now you’re going to know what weddings look like and you’re going to see us and you have to remember what weddings look like so you can’t talk to people, OK?” she told her dad.
She didn’t want her dad to cramp her style while doing her flower girl thing down the aisle, so she had to remind him that he couldn’t call out her name.
“No one can call us because we’re going to be busy walking down the aisle. No one can call our names. Like you can’t call JoJo or Hope or…” she went on.
“But what if I just call out ‘Princess?'” dad asked.
At this point, JoJo was losing her patience with her dad.
“Dad! There’s gonna be a bunch of people sitting and then they’re just gonna hear us and they’re gonna be like ‘Why are they doing that? That was a dumb person.’ And they’re not going to think you’re a good daddy.”
She was not about to let her dad, who obviously knows nothing about weddings, humiliate her when she was walking down the aisle, and she needed to get that through his head.
“Dad! You can’t do that! You do NOT understand weddings. AT ALL. OK? You don’t understand them,” she said.
JoJo’s dad wasn’t the only one who found her rant to be hilarious. He posted it on the family’s YouTube page, where it ended up being viewed more than 4.8 million times!
Dad seemed to be pleased with the dissertation he got because he said JoJo was the perfect flower girl at the wedding, and he managed not to screw it up.
“She nailed it — and I didn’t say anything when she came down the aisle,” he told BuzzFeed.
