Divorce is one of the most heartbreaking things a family can go through.
Although all marriages begin happily, not all of them stay that way. Although married couples work through issues as best they can, they sometimes decide that going separate ways may be the best choice for the both of them and their family. Although pop culture has created the perception that all divorces end horribly, it should be possible to end things with a loved one in a more peaceful way.
Fortunately, one divorced couple found a way to end their relationship on a graceful note.
Morgan Lynn is a the 17-year-old daughter in the middle of the situation, living in Pearland, Texas.
Her parents had been married for 19 years and had been in the process of splitting for some time. Eventually, the divorce was finalized when the papers came through. Still, instead of celebrating or gloating over what had happened, Lynn’s father decided to treat the occasion with respect and elegance.
As a way of saying a kind goodbye, he decided to send his ex-wife her favorite flowers.
Lynn saw the flowers her mom got and decided to share it on her Twitter account.
Beyond the news, she also posted a short thread explaining her feelings on what had happened:
he use to send her flowers when she was having a bad day..& to know that even after today he still did it breaks my heart?❤️?

The tweets quickly went viral, with over 230,000 likes and 77,000 shares.
In Jason’s note, he wrote “Always gonna be you” to his ex-wife as a token that he would always love her in his own way. Despite the pain of everything that had been happening, the pair was able to come together respectfully in tribute to what they had once shared—and show their daughter that no matter what, they were still a family.
Needless to say, this family is an inspiration of how to behave during hard times.
As children of divorced families know, there are few things as uniquely painful as watching your family get torn apart. When parents turn against one another, children are often in the middle and feel forced to take sides. Despite the pain and hardship the family is surely going through, Jason’s act of kindness is a great example of showing those in our lives how much they still matter to us.
Our hearts go out to Morgan and the entire Lynn family during a trying time.
