Ah, vacuum cleaners. For a lot of people, they seem like a necessary evil. They’re often very noisy, cumbersome, and basically just a hassle to use. Nobody likes vacuuming, but it needs to be done nonetheless.
Even though most people are not a fan of vacuuming themselves, sometimes your environment can despise that cleaning machine even more.
Think about little kids and dogs, for example, who are usually startled by the noise and are just plain scared of the loud vacuum cleaner.
In this particular and heartwarming example, a toddler is absolutely scared when her parent starts vacuuming, but luckily, she has a perfect idea.
The eleven-month-old toddler simply ran away as soon as she heard the noise, and her trusty and loyal friend was waiting in the corner. The Siberian Husky stood there stoically and was perhaps just as scared of the vacuum cleaner as the baby was.
It’s difficult to understand for the small child why daddy needs to use this monstrosity of a machine that makes too much noise. She’s clearly still too young to do chores and have responsibilities, let alone understand them. The vacuum cleaner isn’t a tool, it’s something strange and big that makes a lot of noise. Which toddler wouldn’t be scared of it?
At the beginning of the cute video, we see the little girl head over to the vacuum machine – but then it starts making that familiar noise.
The poor toddler is startled and seems anxious, but luckily, she knows where to find a friend very closeby. Using the walls for support as she can’t walk perfectly yet, she makes her way back to the adorable Husky. The four-footer has been standing in the corner, completely silent, the whole time.
What happens next is just too cute. This girl is in need of a big hug!
Right away, the little girl wraps her arms around the neck of the large dog, and she tries to catch a glimpse of her dad with the vacuum cleaner once in a while. It’s clear that being near her best friend really helps her calm down, but it looks like the husky is actually just as scared as she is!
Admittedly, the dog does do a lot better job at hiding it, and he could also be a bit curious. The husky breed is known for its playfulness, mischievous personality, and curiosity – which makes them the perfect bud for children. Nonetheless, it’s pretty obvious that this husky isn’t exactly a fan of that big large machine either.
No matter what, huskies will always stand up for their owner and protect them, even if they’re terrified themselves. When they’re on their own, they have a tendency to run away from potentially sticky situations, but this four-footer wasn’t about to leave his owner hanging.
The whole interaction between the toddler and the husky is just too adorable, and it really shows how safe the child feels with him.
Daddy uploaded the footage to YouTube, and it quickly went viral with over 15 million views.
“My 11-month-old daughter running to her husky for protection,” he wrote as the video caption.
Some viewers in the comments tried to imagine what the dog must’ve thought about the whole situation.
“The dog was probably like” WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! When the baby ran towards him,” one person said.
“The truth is, the husky is just as scared of the vacuum. But he’s being brave for his little human, another wrote.
It turns out that this family often encounters some funny and cute situations with their dog Thor. For example, one day, Dad came home from work and saw his clothes lying around everywhere. It didn’t take long to find the culprit, because he saw his precious four-footer looking guilty while sulking in the corner.
Dogs always make your life more exciting and interesting, sometimes in the most adorable ways.
