Babies are the cutest specimens on the planet. It’s basically a fact.

Well, let me pump the brakes just a little. Maybe there’s some competition out there. Red pandas are incredibly adorable… and have you seen baby penguins?

Anyway, that’s not the point. Back to babies.

The ease by which human babies can be entertained is undoubtedly one of their best qualities – something that becomes more and more difficult as life goes by.

Babies are incredibly adept at having fun. It really doesn’t take much to keep them entertained.

And sometimes, they can be the best source of entertainment, themselves.

Even just watching an entertained baby can be entertaining. The act of entertaining a baby can be entertaining, in itself.

One particular baby recently struck up a growling contest with his loving aunt.

Baby Girl looks gentle and innocent, sure. But she packs a mean grumble.

Okay, mean might not be the best word. It’s still adorable.

Baby Girl, a little surprised at first, retorts with a growl of her own.

She really leans into it, giving the growl her all.

“Ayr!”

Even her meanest face is as cute as a button.

Her aunt absolutely loves it! Despite being a fully grown adult, she can’t stop giggling.

She proceeds to goad Baby Girl into more growls.

Auntie bursts out laughing. She might be more entertained than the baby at this point.

She snarls back, inevitably met with more laughter.

Auntie wants more! She looks Baby Girl in the eyes and lets out a concise, “Raww!”

Duly noted. Baby Girl sends it right back, putting her whole body into it.

“Raw!”

Her growls and snarls are much more to the point than Auntie’s. They’re generally just one concise syllable. Auntie’s are more of a sustained grumble.

Auntie can’t contain herself. This isn’t even about entertaining the baby anymore.

Auntie’s having a blast!

She goes on to playfully ask, “You getting mad at me?”

Maybe, just maybe. But probably not. Baby’s too adorable for anger.

Babies are progenitors of joy. Even on the rainiest, cloudiest day, they can provide warmth and sunshine with their innocent playfulness and charm.

For humans, babies are undoubtedly the cuteness GOATs (for the unfamiliar, GOAT is an acronym for “greatest of all time).

Auntie’s going to her have loving hands full as she helps raise her new niece. Luckily, her niece has a loving aunt.

Parents have a short, innocent newborn baby window before things get a little more serious, then come the trials of the teenage years.

But for now, this aunt and her family can enjoy the wonders of a bubbling, laughing baby.

Red pandas and young penguins have nothing on this baby. Okay, they do. But this baby’s cute as can be!
