The greatest gift that anyone could receive is a loving family. Sadly, there are thousands of kids who haven’t received it but still hoping to experience this priceless present.
According to the Adoption Network, there are 114,556 children who are waiting to be adopted.
More than half of them are 6 years old or even older. It’s really heartbreaking that they wake up each day with full of doubts, wondering if they would find people who would choose them to be part of their family.
No matter how hard it is, they should know that there is still hope.
Because kind people still exist in this world. These people are willing to share the love that they have with children who need it.

In 2018, they shared a video that touched hearts and made many people cry.
It’s when they gave the greatest gift to 10-year-old Ivey. It was a present that made the kid shed tears. It was placed inside a box and Ivey did not know it’s beyond a sweet surprise.
When she opened the box, Paige and Edward were watching her lovingly.
When she finally saw it, she confirmed if what she had read was right and asked the couple, “I’m going to be adopted?”
When her parents responded, she burst into tears making her mom cry too. It was an emotional moment.
In her Facebook post, Paige shared that aside from Ivey, they also officially adopted her biological siblings, Kai and Lita. It’s after they spent a few years of foster care.
“This will be my favorite video I ever share. This was the day we told our daughter that we were going to be able to adopt her (and her brother and sister)! She had been praying to be adopted and we found out on her birthday that it was going to happen! So the next day we gave her this surprise box! God’s timing was perfect!”
She also shared how beautiful adoption is not only for the children but also for the parents.

Ivey expressed her gratitude to the couple by hugging them and telling them that she loves them.

It’s really delightful to know that lots of children like Ivey, Kai, and Lita have finally found a family who accepted them wholeheartedly and without conditions. Hopefully, many more children would also experience this kind of love.
