Parents are proud watching their kids head off to school.
Simply seeing the kids run around happily carrying their backpacks and lunch boxes give a parent joy. They are having the time of their lives at school, and we are all after their joy in learning and making new friends.
While going to school is fun for our children, it is not as enjoyable for us, parents.
One of the most annoying parts of parenting, when you have a kid who goes to school, is when you need to endure the long line when dropping off your children at the school gate.
Some kids ride the school bus and that’s fine, but there are also parents who still prefer to bring their children, especially little ones, to the school premises themselves.
It can be quite annoying when the line becomes too long.
Parents who drive their kids to school know the struggle. Starting your day in a bad mood is not good, but the very long queue of cars can be very irritating for some.
This is probably the reason why one school thought of ways to make dropping off kids at school a bearable and even funny experience, not only for kids but also for parents!
These signs will surely make any parent smile.
The Austintown Elementary School in Ohio is used to seeing parents drop off their cute kids at the school gate. The school is also aware that parents are not all patients people who can bear the long line each day during drop-off and pick-up schedules.
In response to this, the PTA of the elementary school thought of an amazing way to entertain parents while waiting in line. Their idea was to put up signs in the area which will surely make any parent or guardian smile or even laugh out loud!
The signs feature MC Hammer, Ryan Gosling, NSYNC, and more.
On the grass are hilarious signs featuring popular artists way back when parents were still young students. They are meant to guide the adults, but they were also placed there to put a smile on any reader’s face.
“Can’t park here!” were the words written on a sign with an image of rapper MC Hammer in his “U Can’t Touch This” era.
There was also another sign featuring NSYNC with the words “Tell the kids Bye, Bye, Bye”. So 2000, right?
And for the ladies out there, Ryan Gosling smolders with his cute sign saying “Hey girl, move your car all the way up.” So cute!
There were a lot of funny and entertaining signs everywhere.
With these simple but entertaining ideas, the PTA has succeeded in making drop-off and pick-up a lot less annoying and even something that parents and guardians would look forward to.
TLC and David Ross were also featured in the other signs along the school’s driveway. And the last sign definitely will leave you laughing!
I’m pretty sure seeing this sign would surely keep you in your vehicle!
