56-year-old deadbeat dad Mike Sr. shocked the court by calling his son a derogatory curse word as he entered the room.

His 22-year-old son, Mike Jr., sued him for £4,160 after failing to pay child support for 16 years.

Dad’s horrible attitude had him sneering in hostility towards his flesh and blood.

But this wasn’t any ordinary court hearing.

Judge Robert Rinder is in charge, and anyone who’s seen or heard of the man and the show knows he is not like most judges normally seen in courtrooms.

He is sharp, witty, and often petulant which makes for great television.

Rinder does not shrink back from exchanging words with anyone in court, and he makes sure he is heard.

Mike Sr. is not one to back down either.

Unfortunately for good old dad, his first words in the room were heard and forwarded to Rinder.

“What are you doing here, you c***?”

Was his first address to his son.

When Rinder enters and takes his seat, he asks Mike Jr. what his dad said as it did indeed reach his ears. So Mike Jr. then repeats what his father said to him, to which Rinder asks Sr. if that was a reasonable thing to do.

Mike Sr.’s response was every bit filled with poison,

“Do I think that’s reasonable? Yeah I do.”

The scoffing Rinder knew it was going to be a good one.

“We’ll go on a little journey of discovery, you and me.”

Remarked an already irked Rinder, as he gave Mike Sr. that warning look after an exchange about who asks the questions.

The reason for the hearing was that young Mike figured his dad owed him since Sr. wasn’t present during his upbringing.

Mike Jr. even did the math, with numbers Rinder confirmed with the young man.

And that came out to about £5 a week while Mike Jr. was a child up until he grew to the age of 16, which then amounts to £4,160.

Numbers that the older Mike could care less about, believing he didn’t owe his son anything.

He narrates how he raised Mike Jr. up until he was four or five, and would always see him weekly when the kid entered a foster home at the age of seven.

And Mike claims he has about 40 kids with different women.

Rinder asks him then whose responsibility it was to raise the kids, to which the older Mike says it’s him and the mother’s.

Then Mike Sr. shared a little story.

“When I was a drunk, it was alright for Mike to come up to me and say ‘Dad have you got…?’ and because I was drunk I would give him whatever was in my pocket.”

He went on to say he’d been married three times to which Rinder asked,

“And when you asked these women to marry you at the relevant times were they all conscious?”

Ouch. Rinder is something else alright.

Mike Sr., brazen and cocky, kept at it with Rinder to the point that the judge handed his little hammer to his assistant.

Rinder was so tempted.

It’s the kind of courtroom drama viewers will certainly enjoy.
