It can be a lot of fun to blast your favorite tunes in the car and jam out. And if you have a buddy to do it with, the more the merrier!
However, there are also some people who take jamming out to another level. You know the type. They’ve memorized every lyric to the song and sing with such passion – you’d think they were attending a concert. Frankly, it becomes near impossible to concentrate on the actual music.
One British dad knows just what it’s like to have his music taken over while in the car.
Adorably though, it’s his daughters that are the mini-performers.
The Kabs family from London is made up of dad Tay, mom Chanel, and their three beautiful children.
If they look familiar, it’s because they’re social media stars, known as “The Kabs Family.” They have more than 450K subscribers on YouTube alone, where they share light-hearted videos such as vlogs, pranks, challenges, life experiences, and more!
It’s amazing when you can share an interest with your children. For Tay, his daughters love the same music he does.
Not every parent can say that their kids enjoy the songs they play in the car. Oftentimes, they might even cringe the moment you hit the “play” button. But in the Kabs’ household, it’s pretty much the opposite.
Tay’s been recording footage of what it’s like having his daughters sitting in the passenger seat – and it’s just plain awesome.
There are multiple videos of the couple’s oldest daughter, Teija, rocking out in her dad’s car. She doesn’t hold back either – whether 90s classics are playing or rap tracks.
Teija isn’t the only singer who turns her dad’s vehicle into a concert venue. The family’s youngest girl, Maliya, is also a little superstar.
There’s one video, in particular, from their channel that went viral, and it features two-year-old Maliya singing and dancing to Ty’s music. In the video description, it hilariously says:
“This is what Teija has created! Lol”
Just because she’s a toddler, doesn’t mean she doesn’t know good music.
Dad Ty is looking at his phone in their parked car when Maliya starts jamming to the song that’s playing. It’s KiDi’s “Odo” and from what it seems – it’s not the first time she’s heard it! She sings and can’t sit still, all while dad comically keeps a straight face.
This girl is just getting started.
Maliya loves the songs that come on in her dad’s car and she completely takes over. Even when dad tries to turn the volume down she lets him know that she’s not having it. “No, no, no…”
It’s impossible not to smile watching Maliya show off her music skills. But Ty’s “serious” facial expressions in the video are like icing on the cake.
One viewer commented:
“Her dad’s face lol I know he has to be laughing inside.”
Sometimes a kid needs more room to dance.
At one point, Maliya tries to open her dad’s car door and he immediately stops her. Her reason? She tells him, “I wanna dance outside.”
Someone else commented:
“Lol when she realizes that the car is too small for her groove 😂😂”
So far, the video has more than 11 million views on YouTube and 260K “likes.” Talk about one talented family!
