It’s common for young men and women in their twenties to want kids. They’re cute, funny, and for some reason, fulfilling to have in life. Well, for some people at least. But reading these moments shared by parents might change their minds.
Kids have no filters and will say whatever enters their mind with no hesitation. So read on for all the sarcastic, embarrassing, and totally entertaining responses remembered by moms and dads. Then think about your own.
“Not a Burned Quesadila”
This little Gordan Ramsey isn’t ever going to let her Dad live it down. She’s been scarred for life apparently and he better watch his step next time he decides to make this little comedian some Mexican food.
1. Won’t be funny when the kid gets hungry
The audacity of toddlers. The attitude these little ones have make for endless entertainment.
2. Mom taught him to be honest
Drop the nail stuff and go watch him play PS4, mom. That’s it, then go pour yourself a drink after.
3. Definitely a girl
And she’ll grow up into a fine woman. One who knows how to rip a guy’s guts out with her sweet words.
4. Not quite daddy’s little girl
Or perhaps that’s her way of telling dad to hit the gym and go easy on the beers. She could be concerned for his health you know.
5. Embrace your weirdness
Yup, their delightful. Kids will drive you mad up until the end of the day when they hug you and fall asleep on you.
6. Shut it already
While we all agree that it’s always best to be honest, this kid took it to another level. Your mom’s savings could have gone to a nice meal, kid.
7. Iron his face in return
Some dads would have thrown the kid into the washing machine and hung them up to dry by the ankles. You know, to wash that mouth off.
8. Poor St. Nick had to hold back a naughty reply
He doesn’t have to afford them to be fair. But there goes your chance of being on the “nice” list next year.
9. If this kid is not all of us
So fighting couples take note of this kid’s note. It may save your relationship. Or not.
10. Cackle maniacally before inflicting a curse
It’s fun to play the villain sometimes. And these kids need to learn a thing or two about life, so go for it.
11. No comparison at all
Well she’s learning not to be biased, even if it is her own father. That means he’s got to step up his game.
12. Big bad princess
She’s determined to quit school. Which only means she’s figured out a way to get through life, even at the expense of her mom’s freedom.
13. Turn the tables on her
Dad can use that same attitude towards her would-be suitors. And dads can do far worse things.
14. The kid witnessed it all
The horror. The stench. Dads everywhere are laughing at this but you’re all guilty and deserve the same mug.
15. Fiona could kick butt
And she could eat and belch with the best of them. All while being able to defend herself and her family. Watch out, kid.
16. Kid’s got horns and a tail for sure
Now you can only imagine the yelling and screaming this mom unleashed. Poor kid must have been terrified. Well deserved though.
17. A vision of the future
This kid knew the possibilities of the situation’s outcome. And he relished in it. Why be negative when you can see the advantages?
18. Child got candid for a cat
It’s not like mom carried the kid for 9 months, gave birth, nursed, raised, and all that anyway. Mom should have made the cat sleep in the kid’s bed, then make her kid sleep outside.
19. Step up Kristin
This one’s fast becoming a Netflix thriller. It’s a safe bet to say that mom poured whiskey into her coffee that day.
20. Wonder where she got that from
Get rid of the horse and get a donkey. In all seriousness, it is concerning that the child realizes the need for humility.
21. A born natural
Maybe let some air out of the tires next time. Or loosen a few bolts on the hubs. Perhaps remove the brake cables. You know, for the sake of learning.
22. It’s a wild zoo
Savage. Prepare a list of animal names next time. Then buy her animal costumes for Halloween.
23. Raise them right
Dad jokes never grow old. While most roll their eyes at them, at the end of the day it makes you laugh. Especially daughters who grow up with fond memories.
24. It is a painful process this kid will learn someday
And to be fair, most career choices will have you reading books and crying. Plus the occasional break downs after a few drinks. And kids.
25. Kids got grounded back in the day
Well anyway, this kid will have her own stories to tell her future kids. And they’ll get her back. It’s the circle of life. What we often call as karma.
