A little girl named Emily is about to steal your heart. She is only 3-years-old and is more compassionate and selfless than many people. The little girl found out that kids with cancer lose their hair — she wanted to help out in any way possible.

Emily’s mom and dad suggested that she donate some of her beautiful golden long locks to make wigs for kids with cancer. They had seen pictures of kids her age with no hair and Emily was very moved by them.

As soon as 3-year-old Emily found out she could donate her hair to children with cancer, she jumped at the opportunity.

Her parents explained to her that in order to do this, she’d need to have her hair cut pretty short and it might take some time to grow back. Emily seemed to be completely fine with that. In fact, it didn’t bother her one bit.

“I don’t want any kids to be sad that they have no hair,” Emily sweetly says to the camera in the adorable video below. “What I want to do is give them my hair.”

The sweet girl’s favorite movie is Tangled; she brought her Rapunzel doll named “Dolly” with her to get a haircut too.

Emily and Dolly were ready to donate their beautiful hair to children battling cancer. They went off to her uncle Matthew’s hair salon and were ready for a makeover.

Emily insisted that her uncle cut Dolly’s hair first; it’s always good to see what you’re getting before you buy it anyway, right? After Dolly was sporting a cute, short bob — it was Emily’s turn to sit in the chair.

Emily calmly and patiently sat in the chair as her uncle cut inches of her hair to donate.

“I try and stay nice and still when Matthew cuts my hair,” she explains. “I think Uncle Matthew is the best haircut in the world.”

When her uncle is finished with perfecting Emily’s new style, it was time to look in the mirror. Sher couldn’t look any cuter — both her and Dolly.

Little Emily teaches us to be selfless. If we have an abundance of something, share it with someone in need. The touching video of Emily’s donation is something that everyone can learn a lesson from.
