The little girl in the video is standing with her younger siblings on the street, outside their home in Maoming, China.
She is two and a half years old, while her siblings are even younger than her.
When she sees a forklift coming their way, she immediately opens her arms wide to protect her siblings and stop the forklift from coming closer.
She shouts, “Stop, Uncle!” and “Thank you!” when the forklift stops a few meters away.
Her younger brothers freeze at the sight of the forklift. The sister holds each sibling and brings them back inside the house one by one.
She doesn’t let go of the lollipop she is holding in her right hand, which adds to how heartwarming this scene is, especially to parents who are watching the video.
Their mother was working at the other side of the house, so the little girl was watching over her younger siblings.
“The girl always warns her siblings to get out of the way as soon as they see a vehicle,” the mother told the South China Morning Post.
We can see that her mother has taught her how to take care of her siblings well.
After the three children are safely inside and the coast is clear, the forklift passes by carrying a huge load, and the kids step out of their home again.
