Dads have very special relationships with their daughters. That’s why girls who love their dad are called a “Daddy’s girl.” The relationship between a father and daughter can affect several factors in a woman’s life.
According to Psychology Today, “Dad can create a daughter’s conscious and unconscious relationship expectations.”
The way this little girl in the viral video reacts to being surprised by her dad probably means that they have a great relationship. She and mom were at the airport but the little girl had no idea she was there to see her dad arrive back home.
This sweet little angel was just so surprised and so happy to see her daddy that it almost brought tears to her and our eyes.
The video starts with an adorable little girl in furry boots walking over a pink marble floor. She’s holding mommy’s hand while they walk through the airport. The two come to a point and stop.
“Stay right there,” mommy tells her daughter who looks up.
“If you look right there,” mom says, pointing off-camera.
It takes her a minute, but then the girl’s searching furrowed eyebrows raise up as she breaks out into a huge smile when she spots what she’s supposed to be looking at.
The tiny tot breaks out in a huge screech and starts running full speed at her daddy. She’s shrieking all the way down the hall before we see her leap into her dad’s arms who is walking toward her.
“Daddy, daddy,” she squeals as she hugs him tight around the neck.
This kiddo was in a state of total shock and starts giggling wildly.
Either that or sobbing out of happy excitement.
It actually seemed like a little bit of both.
And daddy is just excited to see her as she is to see him.
He holds her close and gives her kisses on her cheeks in between saying, “Hi!”
The little girl keeps squealing in happy enjoyment with a huge grin on her face.
She pulls back to look at her daddy’s face.
“Who is that?” mommy asks.
“Dadddddy!” she tells her showing off her sheer surprise.

“Is daddy home?” mom asks.
“Yeah!” the little girl gushes.
Holding daddy tighter.
Now the shock seems to be setting in.
This sweet little angel just keeps looking at her dad’s face as if she can barely believe he’s actually in front of her.
“Dadddy!” she says in a happy cry.
“Hi honey,” he tells her as she giggles hysterically.
“Are you happy?” dad askes his daughter.
“Yeahhh,” she says squeezing his head tight.
“Did daddy surprise you?” he asks.
“Yeahh,” she tells him.
And by the look on her face, you know that it’s true.
“Are you so surprised?” mom asks.
“Yeah,” the little girl says again.
Then it seems like the little girl stopped to think for a second about just how surprised she actually was. After that, she has the sweetest look on her face.
