In today’s culture, dads often get a bad rap. In TV shows, movies, and commercials, they’re either portrayed as cold and distant or as bumbling fools. Despite everything dads do, people love to pretend they’re the incompetent gender, barely even capable of changing a diaper on their own.
In fact, dads are no more clueless than moms. All parents learn from experience— and being born a certain sex does not dictate whether your parenting will be top-notch. In the end, men and women simply have different styles of doing things, and while a man’s style of parenting may not mesh with a woman’s, perhaps they have a valuable lesson to offer— a lesson in having fun, perhaps?
In this video, viewed nearly 40 million times, one mom discovers exactly how her husband deals with the kids when she is away.

When Dad sees his daughter’s routine, he immediately decides to join in.
At first, he wears a serious face, performing a robot dance.
His daughter is clearly amused by his antics and begins to dance more energetically. As she grows more involved, so does he— each feeding off the other’s energy.
At one point during the impromptu performance, Dad pulls out a diva moment— and, hands on hips, starts lip-syncing all the words.
It’s awesome to see the man so carefree with his daughters— and in the midst of his hilarious dance moves.
At one point, his daughter hands him the pompoms, and he takes it one step further with a superstar, cheerleader routine.
