One man went from having no kids to 25.

And he wouldn’t change a thing.

Imagine going from having no kids to having 25 at once. That’s exactly what happened to Peter Ellenstein after he was contacted by one of his biological children.

She broke the news to Ellenstein that she was one of many who had connected online after finding out they were related.

Who was the father? Yep, it was Ellenstein.

He needed extra cash

But what he got was so much more.

In the ’80s, Peter was a struggling actor who was able to pick up some easy money by becoming a sperm donor.

He may not have thought about it then, but his frequent visits to the sperm bank would one day change his life forever.

An average life, until it wasn’t

After selecting to become an ‘anonymous donor,’ Peter didn’t really spend too much time thinking about his potential biological children.

He eventually married and divorced but he and his wife never had children of their own. Prior to finding out about his children, Peter’s life was fairly average.

He was a 57-year-old man working odd jobs to make ends meet and had no family to call his own.

That is until a young woman named, Rachel, reached out to him via Facebook.

Peter learns he’s a father of 25

Rachel informs Peter that he has a few kids…actually a lot. After the shock from her revelation wore off, Peter prepared himself to meet his biological children.

“They’ve been showing up at about one a month since Rachel found me in 2017.” – Peter told Inside Edition.

DNA testing uncovered their father’s identity.

Even though his sperm donation was anonymous, Peter’s biological children could still connect with each other through DNA testing.

The group worked together to figure out who their father was. Once they were certain they had the right man, they reached out to set up a meet and greet.

A family reunion like no other.

Peter and his 25 biological children organized to meet up for a very unique family reunion.

When they were all together it was nothing but laughter and smiles as they got to know each other better.

One of his bio sons told Inside Edition how much of a shock it was to find out that he was no longer an only child.

“Going from having no siblings to you know…having infinite siblings is kind of an interesting adjustment.”

A very happy, very large family.

The half-siblings and their dad celebrated the momentous occasion where they finally were able to meet.

The oldest daughter brought champagne and donuts to the reunion and there were hugs and hellos making their way around the room.

Just you’re typical family get-together.
