This 2-year-old is interested in her family’s new budget – until she realizes what it actually means.

Most adults dread the idea of a budget, but it is no surprise that 2-year-old Mila has no idea what it is. Her mother, Katie Stauffer, recently posted a video where Mila discovers that her parents are now on a budget.

Her reaction is completely relatable. In the video, Mila, who also stars in numerous other videos on her mom’s YouTube page, bemoans how this new budget will affect her.

Throughout the entire thing, she says and does things that make her seem much older than 2 years old.

Based on her comments and mannerisms alone, you would think Mila is a young adult or even a full-grown adult.

The video begins with an introduction from Mila:

“So, guess what. Mommy and Daddy are on a budget.”

With a confused expression on her face, she freely admits:

“I don’t know really what that is…”

Mila explains that she asked her mommy what a budget is and that’s when she found out the sad truth.

Mila then lists off all the consequences of a budget while showing off an adorable pout on her face.

“No Target… no toys… no princess dresses…”

At that point, she actually seems like she may cry. Either Mila is an amazing actress at such a young age or is truly emotional about the budget. It is then that Mila starts acting more like an adult or moody teenager than a child, exclaiming:

“No Starbucks! My life is over… Like…. Ughh…”

The next portion of the video almost has to be scripted given everything that Mila says, but she is an impressive enough actress to make it seem natural.

She explains that her mom “can’t use a credit card. He [her dad] handed her [her mom] dollar bills. Who does that? I can’t.”

This is when the video starts to get truly hilarious. After an expressive face palm and collapsing back into her chair, Mila decides:

“I can’t handle this. Maybe I can get a job!”

Then, the camera follows her to the computer where she Googles “jobs for 2 year olds.” Unsurprisingly, she isn’t qualified for any of them. In frustration, she then exclaims “Whatever!”

Most viewers would have to agree that Mila may just be qualified for a job acting.

When it comes down to it, this video shows a 2-year-old expressing exactly what we all think when we have to cut back our spending.

It is a refreshing reflection and sure to bring a smile to your face. Between her comments and her facial expressions, Mila hits the nail on the head in this video.

Those who can’t get enough of Mila bemoaning her budget will be glad to know that her mom’s YouTube channel is filled with other videos starring this 2-year-old. You can listen to her explain what she thinks of preschool or why Disneyland is a sham.

Her sister, Emma Stauffer, is equally adorable, and stars in many of the videos, as well.

The common theme throughout many of the videos is these tiny children acting out scenarios us adults go through in our everyday life.

Mila and Emma have three other siblings, and their mom, Katie, regularly posts pictures of her children on Instagram. While Mila and Emma seem to be the stars of her account, there are numerous pictures of the other children, as well.
