When it comes to people who try to hurt our children, sometimes it seems like no punishment can be too great.

When the man who tried to violate Doris Stiles-Scown’s daughter was arrested, it wasn’t enough.

Being charged, tried and sentenced wouldn’t make things right. Stiles-Scown needed to publicly shame the assailant so everyone would know what a despicable predator he is.

It started out with a mother-daughter day of shopping. Stiles-Scown and her daughter were shopping at a Rue 22 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

That’s when a filthy predator had that audacity to try and attack her 12-year-old daughter the minute her mother stepped away.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, Stiles-Scown said she left the dressing room to get her daughter a different size.

When she came back she says she allegedly saw Jorge Leon-Alfaro trying to grab her daughter’s leg from underneath the stall.

A store employee saw the ordeal and started to yell at him.

This caused him to take off running. Stiles-Scown chased after him. She, mall security, and other shoppers were able to capture him and subdue him until police arrived.

“This right here is what a predator looks like. Thankfully, I got him. Not today, buddy. Not today,” she said on the video. ““I’m going to make sure your face gets out so that you’re not in any more stalls, looking under little girls’ dressing [rooms]. I’m going to make sure you go viral. You’re a sick pervert.”

She then vowed that she would be at every single one of his court dates.

“You’re so lucky that I don’t hurt you because that’s what I want to do right now. Because what you did to her … you’re going to leave a scar on my daughter permanently. Are you happy with yourself?

Leon was arrested and charged with felony voyeurism charges.

Salt Lake City Police applauded the efforts of Stiles-Scown and her fellow shoppers.

“People are aware of what’s going on and paying attention,” Detective Greg Wilking of the Salt Lake City Police Department told Fox 13. “Other people were paying attention, too and saw similar things that concerned them and that led to his arrest.”

Stiles-Scown’s promised that she would make her video go viral and it did. It was viewed more than 15 million times. You can view it below.
