No mother would want to separate herself from her child, but there will always be times when one has to make that decision.

Parents, especially single parents, give their children up if they know they can’t give their children the life they deserve.

It’s a heartbreaking decision, but know it’s always for the best.

This mother from Utah had to make that decision over 30 years ago.

The mother, who remained unnamed, was pregnant with a baby girl at a young age.

She had no idea how to raise a child at 19 and was doubtful she could give her baby a good life.

So, she decided to give birth to another state, placed her baby for adoption, and went back home.

Fast forward to 2018, she received a message that would make her heart skip a beat.

A woman introduced herself as Jamee and asked if she was her biological mother.

The mother was shocked to receive that message but felt relieved that the day she had prayed for finally arrived.

But the thing was, her children didn’t know about having an older sister.

It was not that she didn’t want to tell them, but she knew deep within that the perfect time for it would come.

Her daughter, Allie Seabock, shared that her mom told them about Jamee during an Easter weekend trip.

The moment their mother cried and blurted out the words “29 years ago…,” they knew and couldn’t help but feel excited.

They kept the communication going until they finally agreed to meet.

Allie recently shared the reunion video, and it was a total tear-jerker.

You can see their mother looking nervous and excited at the same time.

When Jamee entered the door, you could see their mother holding back tears as her long-lost daughter entered her home with her husband and kids.

After Jamee greeted her newfound siblings, she hugged her mother, and it was a crying fest!

There were no words to describe that moment as the two hugged it out for a while, savoring the moment of each year they missed out on each other’s life.

The mother was glad to see that Jamee now had a family of her own.

“Seeing her and knowing that she is healthy, happy, and has a family, is (a) relief. I was just relieved. It just took like the big weight off my shoulders knowing that she is happy, and she knows how much she was loved,” she said in Allie’s Q&A TikTok videos.

She said that since she put Jamee up for adoption, she prayed every day that she would find her.

“From day one, I hoped that she would find me. I didn’t want to find her because I wanted it to be her decision. I didn’t want anything forced, but I prayed daily that she would find me,” she said in another TikTok video with Allie.
