As parents, we want to make sure that whenever we can; we let our kids know we love them; they are special, and that we think of them, all the time.

Aside from taking care of them and making lunches, there are different ways how we can add a little touch of sweetness to these everyday tasks.

You may have seen videos of parents preparing lunches for their kids, and inside those cute lunchboxes, are small notes that say how much their parents love them, a tiny poem, a cheesy line, and just anything to show love.

Sometimes, the smallest acts of sweetness could have the biggest impact.

“Why am I crying 😭 he was meant to be a girl dad,” Clendenin captioned her post.

In her viral TikTok video, she revealed she found a trove of sticky note letters that her husband wrote each day and snuck the notes inside their daughter’s lunches that started at the beginning of this school year.

Sabrina Clendenin, 33, told in her interview with “Good Morning America,” knew that her husband, Jordan Clendenin, and their three beautiful girls shared a tight bond.

What she didn’t know was that her husband would put so much effort into making sure that their girls knew they were special and loved.

Also, he did this every day since school started. Isn’t he the sweetest?

Clendenin was shocked as she discovered more and more lunch notes on her daughter’s belongings.

This meant that her kids kept each note and treasured each one.

It made everything so beautiful, touching, and something to cherish.

“What I laid out on the tables were not even all of them,” Sabrina Clendenin said to GMA. “When I came across them all stuffed in a drawer, I was like, ‘What in the world?’”

The sweet bond between her kids and their dad touched and amazed her.

Clendenin took out the letters and laid some of them on the table and began reading them.

“I started reading them and… I got a little emotional because I didn’t know he was even doing specific days, like there’s a ‘What am I Wednesday,’ ‘Fun Fact Friday,’ ‘Motivational Monday’ and I was just like, this is literally the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Imagine the thought that her husband had put into thinking about what to write, each day, for their kids.

The effort itself is really beautiful.

No wonder the kids kept each one.

The mom of three knew her husband was sweet, but what moved her was the fact that he tried something creative each time.

Aside from the cute reminders that they loved the kids, there were affirmations, jokes, and other adorable stuff written in each letter.

Some days, the sweet dad, Jordan Clendenin, would even include a tiny drawing, a touching quote, a fun riddle, trivia, or anything that would make his kids smile.

She said that the “Fun Fact Friday” notes were particularly the girl’s favorite.

“He just gives them this great confidence that I think every child needs growing up,” Clendenin told GMA.
