Some will say that babies can already understand and even converse with us. However, some people will point out that those adorable sounds that babies make don’t really mean anything. This adorable and viral video captures a moment that many viewers have debated.

An article in The Atlantic, explains the mysteries of baby’s first words. It might not be so important as to what they are saying but more that babies are learning how to open up communication. The article states,

“Such early utterances have a lot of social work to do—they’re more about enabling an interaction than about referring to something specific. So it seems as if ka (baby sounds) was less an act of naming than the on-switch for a shared experience.”
