Josiah Robles marked his high school graduation with a nostalgic photo taken by his mother.

After graduating from Somerset High School, Josiah Robles set his sights on a bright future at Baylor University. Although graduation is a time to celebrate, it is also bitter-sweet for parents and kids. The carefree days of childhood are past and it is time to let our kids show the world what they are made of.

Time to break out the tissues.

“To infinity and beyond!” Josiah’s photo goes viral.

After she was inspired by a similar Facebook post, Josiah’s mother knew just how to mark this moment for her son. Josiah posted the inspiring photo on Twitter.

Josiah’s favorite movie growing up was “Toy Story.”

Josiah’s mother wanted to recreate the end of “Toy Story 3,” the part where Andy says goodbye to his childhood toys, Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Rex, and the rest of the gang. In the movie, Andy leaves them with a little girl to take care of when he heads off to college.

People couldn’t help but comment on the amazing recreation.

The photo of Josiah resonates with so many people because it is a shared moment in life.

Everyone can relate to Andy’s turmoil in “Toy Story 3” as he closes a big chapter in his life. Josiah and many others know that their first real friends were toys. It’s difficult not to think about our own childhood when we watch the movie or when we see an image like the one taken by Josiah’s mom.

One person even responded with an image from the movie showing the toys saying their goodbyes.

As Josiah and many graduates say their goodbyes this year, we can only imagine Woody telling him to “reach for the sky!”
