This mom is so funny! It's really refreshing to see a sign video that isn't depressing.

If you’ve ever fallen down the YouTube rabbit hole, you’ve likely come across a “sign video.”

As a Canadian, the first sign video I really remember seeing was that of Amanda Todd, a girl from British Columbia who committed suicide as a result of bullying.

Prior to her death, Amanda told her story in a YouTube video by writing sentences and phrases on pieces of paper. After her suicide (and the media attention it subsequently received), the video went viral, inspiring many others.

As a general rule, these videos are tear-jerkers.

They sport titles such as “Katelynn and my secrets“, “If You Really Knew Me“, and “This is my story“, with the cards shown revealing intimate details about the individual’s life.

One mom, tired of seeing these videos flooding her news feed, decided to share her own secrets— and the results were pretty darn hilarious!

Melissa Radke is a self-described writer, speaker, vlogger and overall entertainer.

She has a wicked sense of humor, which you can get a taste of from her Facebook biography, which reads:

“She has been married to the same man for 23 years and says 19 of them have been awesome! She has 2 kids that she’ll admit are pretty bad. She loves eating movie popcorn and telling her friends what to do with their hair.”

In January, Melissa Radke decided to share her dirty secrets with the world, creating one of her own infamous sign videos and uploading it to Facebook.

“I’ve seen people do this…” the video begins. “But I don’t get it!

“Who has time to make all these signs?

“And who has markers that aren’t drying out?

“Dadgum kids won’t put the lid back on them.

“So, as I was saying, I generally think these are dumb.

“(Except for that one lady who had breast cancer. Hers was awesome!)”

After a bit more chit chat with the cards, Melissa begins dropping secrets that I know a few moms can relate to.

Melissa’s video goes on to explain that she’s “so hungover from mom guilt that [she’s] letting [the kids] fall asleep in here.”

However, sleeping with children means there are few rules:

“But hey…” she jokes. “At least I get out of #5

“(Wink. Wink.)”
