As adults, we all have our own morning routines. And it can be stressful, especially if you’ve got a long day ahead of you. Plenty of tasks to complete.
Though we are trying our best to start our mornings right, social media might have found someone who can inspire us to achieve our morning goals even more.
This little boy has the ultimate morning routine.
The 6-year-old Ayaan Diop has become an instant online celebrity after his mom posted his morning ritual online.
He has inspired adults.
Ayaan, together with his family, is living in New York. Alissa Holder, Ayaan’s mom, was taking a video of her son during his normal morning ritual.
In the video, he was casually drinking his lemon and honey tea while reading a chapter book at 6:30 in the morning.
Morning rituals are as important as breakfast.
He enjoys the calmness in the morning.
“Ayaan likes his alone time and enjoys a calm and relaxing morning. He does not like to be rushed,” said Alissa in an interview.
“At first I laughed. Because…who does he think he is,” Alissa said in the caption. “But then I realized that I’m glad he had this moment of calm and focus for himself before he starts his day at school. I hope your day is off to a great start,” she further noted.
Ayaan has practiced waking up early, an hour before his siblings wake up.
He does it to enjoy the morning calm.
Alpha Diop, Ayaan’s father, is an artist. That’s where he got his love for tea, while his love of reading would be from when he was still in the womb.
Every night, both parents read a book to Ayaan while he was still inside his mom’s tummy.
The hosts asked Alissa and Alpha how they did it.
She laughed and told them there was no step-by-step guide, but it all started with reading while pregnant.
“He looks forward to getting books as a gift,” Alissa added.
Ayaan has grown a love for reading.
He was introduced to different books and stories. The tea came in after when he watched his dad drinking tea.
It is part of Alpha’s cultural heritage as he grew up in a Carrebian household.
Ayaan was reading “Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid” by Jeff Kinney in the video.
His learning reflects in his sibling’s relationships.
“He’s always been really kind and caring,” Alissa said. He’s also fond of playing African drums, as well as food reviews in some videos.
Ayaan is a well-rounded kid!
The hosts also mentioned a different video of Ayaan in which he recited his three affirmations, “I am smart. I am blessed. I can do anything.”
He was just three years old when the video was taken, but Mom started telling him the affirmation at two years old.
The now-viral video has gathered more than 3 million views and thousands have commented on the sweet and adorable video of Ayaan.
One user commented, “I absolutely love Ayaan, I always follow him and know he will be well-known in this world!”
