Not everyone has a great relationship with their mother-in-law.

But as humans evolve into a more loving race we find that many women are going out of their way to build better relationships with each other.

And blogger Rachel Boley, who runs three boys and a mom, seems like she would be the mother-in-law of our dreams.

She wrote a heartwarming post to her future daughter-in-law that ended up going viral. The post got an overwhelming response from women everywhere.

Boley says her post was inspired by a question she was asked. Someone asked her what kind of men she hoped that her sons would grow up to be.

“I think about this every day,” she said in her blog post.

In her post, Boley acknowledges that she was raising boys who would someday grow to be men and hopefully husbands and fathers.

So, she knew it was her job to raise them to be really good in those roles.

Then her blog spoke directly to her future daughter-in-law. She began with “I love you.”

“I don’t know you yet, but already, I love you. I love you so much, because some day, you will love my son. And he will return that love,” she writes “There will come a day that this sticky, messy, silly little boy will be yours. He will always be mine, but you will take my place in many ways. Someday your hand will replace mine. Your eyes will be his peace and your heart will be his home.”

Let’s face it, some mothers have trouble letting go, especially when it comes to their sons.

But this mom has a healthy outlook and sees her future daughter-in-law as the daughter she’s always wanted.

“I always thought I would have a daughter. Now I know that’s you. I want you to know I pray for you every day, just as I pray for my sons,” she Boley wrote.

Boley explained that she hopes that her future daughter-in-law is loved by her parents as much as Boley loves her boys.

“I pray you are being taught to love yourself first because, without that strong love, you will not be as equipped to love others successfully. I pray you are shown every day what a gift you are. I pray that if that message is somehow missed by those around you, you always know that when God looks at you, He sees His princess,” Boley explained.

Boley admitted that she’ll likely make a lot of mistakes but promised to do her best to raise her son so that he honors his future wife.

She also asked that her daughter-in-law give her son space to make his own mistakes and be his own person. She promised to raise her sons to return the favor

“I promise to let you in. To share my secrets and knowledge of him so that you can love him best. When the time comes, I will trust you with his heart, just as you will trust him with yours,” Boley wrote.

She goes on to make lots more promises even though she acknowledged that it will be many years before they actually meet. But when that day does come, Boley again promised to love her daughter-in-law with all her heart.

Women on the internet were really feeling Boley’s post.

“Oh my gosh, TEARS!!! Your boys are so lucky to have you, and your future daughters in law are even luckier!!! I wish I had a mother in law like this. I started writing a letter like this a few weeks ago, but as I was reading it, it was laced with animosity towards my mother in law. So thank you for showing me that there is love for “new” family members!!” one woman who commented on the post wrote.

Lots of people ended up tagging their daughters-in-law in the post on social media. You can read her full post here.
