He spoke to her every single day while she was in her mom’s belly, filling her with love, positivity, and self-esteem.
Health Partners reports that babies can hear sounds and voices at 18 weeks in the womb.
“If the father lovingly talked to the unborn baby, the baby forms an emotional connection with the father. Dad’s voice could have a soothing and calming effect for baby because the familiar sound lets baby know he is safe,” News24 says.

Dantas gave his daughter Antonella a lot to look forward to when she finally arrived.
“Every day I talked to my daughter in her mother’s womb, I always told her that I loved her, that Dad was there, and that I was going to be the best father in the world!” Dantas said on Instagram.

So, when his daughter finally arrived, she already knew exactly who her dad was by the sound of his voice.

Dantas, a naval soldier, lives in Rio de Janeiro with his wife Tarsila and their daughter Antonella.
Tarsila describes her daughter as “a gift sent by my Lord.”
“If wealth were measured in words, I would sum it up in just one: you,” she said of her daughter. “My rare jewel cut by the hands of God.”

Now that she’s born, Antonella is still every bit of a daddy’s girl.

“This is so true. My daughter hasn’t seen her dad yet, but when she heard his voice over the phone, her reaction is priceless! As if they’ve met and known each other since day 1 of her existence! The closeness is already there. Made her dad’s heart melt,” one person commented.
“Yes, I believe it too. I too used to talk to my baby when he was inside the womb and I clearly remember his reaction when I talked to him on day one. Now my baby is 12 months!” said another.
