Gentlemen, imagine getting the news that your girl is pregnant. Now depending on your point of view, it could either be exciting or scary. Fatherhood is wonderful but is a hefty job. Kiss those nights out with the boys goodbye.
Now picture yourself in the doctor’s office after a check up and an ultrasound. Only to get the news that mommy dearest isn’t having one baby. Not two, or three, but FIVE. And all girls too. Sweating yet?
The queen with quins.
They are the Busby family. What makes them so unique is that mom Danielle gave birth to the first set of female quintuplets in America. All girls. All five of them. This video gives us a glimpse into that life.
It was daddy’s birthday so of course there were candles. It’s tradition to blow out candles! Adam Busby has everything any man could ask for. A loving wife and six daughters.
Make a wish!
Adam is surrounded by his daughters around a low, circular table. Danielle is recording the moment as she sings Happy Birthday to her husband. It’s so sweet, so lovely, and the girls are super adorable.
Big sister Blayke (in purple) joins her mom in singing. Adam is all smiles while the quins are watching the whole scenario unfold without a clue as to what’s going on. One of the five seemed to be dancing though!
But not for long. Daddy blows them out after his wish and he is one happy man. Until one of the little ones burst out in tears. We’re talking red faced, full passion bawling as only toddlers can do.
The other quin joined her sister too. But the others just stared as if to say, “What? Why? What’s going on?”
It is the cutest, funniest thing ever!
They are Ava Lane, Olivia Marie, Hazel Grace, Riley Paige and Parker Kate. The family have their own show called OutDaughtered which is basically them living their lives for viewers to see.
How Danielle managed carrying five in her is nothing short of amazing. Hats off to her.
The quins were 28 weeks when they came out. That’s 7 months and yes it was a huge challenge. The quins spent 3 months in the neonatal intensive care unit which was really tough on Adam and Danielle. The girls were really tiny.
Still, the five little girls are blessings to the couple. Mom and dad struggled with infertility for over a year before they came along. They asked for one and got five. And to think Adam and Danielle used to be colleagues at Target.
Adam stood her up on the first date, deciding to hang out with his friends instead but Danielle gave him a second chance. Lucky guy.
Danielle had five growing inside her so she had to eat way more. There were times that she would eat 4,500 calories a day! It’s a good thing all five of the girls survived too. Quins are very rare and can be dangerous. But look at them now!
