A lot of work goes into planning a wedding. The engaged couple needs to choose a location, the members of their wedding party, the kind of food to be served, the flowers, the decorations— the process can seem never-ending.
Guests need to be invited, an officiant needs to be booked, and the bride needs to find the perfect dress. When it comes down to it, planning a wedding is a stressful process, and it doesn’t matter how much thought you put into it, there will always be a few kinks.
The couple in this video spent ages planning their wedding.
The bride had meticulously selected each and every detail— from the particular church to the red decor and bridesmaid dresses. She painstakingly hand-addressed every invitation, requesting guests RSVP as soon as possible. She scribbled lists of her friends’ names, weighing the options for bridal party membership in her mind. When she laid her head on the night before the wedding, everything was finally complete, and she was sure that nothing could go wrong.
Unfortunately, she didn’t account for tot-sized rebellion.
On the day of the reception, love was in the air. Everyone was excited to see the couple get married and to start the celebrations.
When everyone was seated in their assigned seats, the ceremony finally began. First, the groom and best man entered from the side to stand at the altar. Then, the bridesmaids, clad in red dresses, accompanied the groomsmen down the aisle.
After the maid of honor walked alone, a tiny ring bearer takes his place.
In the video, you see an adorable toddler being placed at the end of the aisle. With his golden blonde hair and stylish get-up, the little guy is a sight to behold. With the pressure of so many eyes watching him, the toddler manages to keep his composure.
He struts his stuff like a celebrity until he gets distracted halfway. At this point, a helpful woman sitting near the aisle points to help him along his path.
Everyone is mesmerized by the ring bearer— so angelic with his little smile. But when he gets closer to the wedding party, he pulls a move that takes everyone by surprise.
No one knows what got into the ring bearer that day. But, when he got closer to the wedding party, pillow balanced delicately on his arm, he took a sudden change of direction.
Out of nowhere, the little boy bolts towards the altar and throws his pillow to their party’s feet.
Catching a glimpse of the unexpected sight, everyone cracks right up. As he turns to dart away from the scene, you can even see the priest watching with a smile. Unfortunately for the ring-bearing bandit, an adult I’m assuming is Dad foils his great escape.
Since being uploaded to YouTube, the ring bearer’s antics have been viewed over 4 million times.
