Every morning, Kaden’s parents looked forward to unswaddling him after a night’s sleep. Why? Because it’s just too stinkin’ cute!

In fact, it’s so funny and adorable that it’s gone viral!

Kaden is known as “KPtheBaby” and he has his own social media accounts that his dad, Kent Siri, runs. He actually has tens of thousands of followers!

When Kaden was a tiny baby, he enjoyed being swaddled in a blanket. While babies tend to find comfort in this method – it was beneficial that Kaden’s parents wrapped him up like a burrito for sleep-time because of his “strong startle reflex.” Kent told BuzzFeed that the baby’s Moro reflex caused him to “jolt” at night and wake up.

He explained:

“Swaddling makes him feel safe and secure and helps him sleep.”

Anytime Kaden was unwrapped in the morning or after a nap, a funny thing would happen.

The moment he was free from the blanket his arms would shoot straight up like he was excited to start the day. Accompanied by a happy grin, it’s the cutest thing ever. Seriously, now that’s how you want to wake up in the morning!

Kent began filming his son’s “spring-loaded” arms and creating clever videos with them.

The dad started by incorporating the famous Braveheart movie line, just as a comical thing he could share with friends and family. By no surprise, everyone got a kick out of it! The positive feedback encouraged Kent to make more videos of Kaden using various songs and film clips.

Eventually, little Kaden’s awesome response to being unswaddled went viral.

They started by posting the individual recordings to their Facebook page. However, Kent told FOX59 that it was after he created a compilation that things “exploded.” As of now, compilation has more than four million views on YouTube.

The viral video below features a fun mix of tunes that fit with Kaden’s arm raises.

Good luck keeping a straight face when Kaden throws his arms up to “Hip Hop Hooray” and “YMCA.” His response also pairs perfectly when Beyonce tells “single ladies” to put their hands up.

In the video description, it hilariously says:

“Kaden (between 3-4 months in the video) starts every day like a well-rested basketball player coming off the bench…PUT ME IN, COACH! #wakingupwithkaden”

In addition to the basketball player comparison, they also answer a question in the YouTube description regarding whether Kaden is “comfortable” when swaddled.

“Kaden LOVES being swaddled. It provides him comfort and security when he sleeps. As many clinical professionals can attest, swaddling is very much a pediatrician-recommended method for soothing babies when they sleep. So long as the baby is not rolling over himself / herself, it’s completely safe. Kaden has a strong startle reflex (also known as the Moro Reflex) which causes him to jolt a lot at night and wake himself up. Since we started swaddling him, he sleeps much better and he loves it. Hope this helps clarify things!”
