A local News in East Idaho is helping a secret Santa give 1 million dollars to deserving people this holiday season. They’re visiting recipients every day and surprise them with life-changing gifts.
Just like the single mother of 8 in Malad, Idaho.
Lorraine’s kids are between 4 and 23 years old.
The older children are already in college and studying online to help their moms. The third eldest is preparing to leave for a mission for his church.
Lorraine is currently working at a local school and is doing her best to make ends meet.
She’s a wonderful mother, incredibly forgiving.
She is always sweet, kind, and loving to everyone.
Nate from East Idaho News narrated her short story.
She never complains and she is an inspiration to everyone around her.
No one would ever know what was happening in her life and that things are a little rough because she is always positive, Nate added.
The news crew went inside the school building to look for Lorraine.
They then presented her with the first gift, a holiday’s worth of propane to heat up their house during the cold season.
This time, Lorraine started to cry happy tears as she was surprised by what was happening.
The next gift was 5 thousand dollars worth of gift cards that she can use to buy at local participating stores.
May it be new clothes, food, or even small appliances that they need at home.
Nate then gave Lorraine a small box as the last gift, she was bursting into tears as she saw the key to her new mini-van.
Nate mentioned that the family had no car that fits all of them.
So this mini-van will surely help them in a big way.
Nate and the crew joined Lorraine outside to show her new car, which they said took a minute for them to learn how to turn on since the car is fairly new.
Lorraine’s smile says it all.
She deserves all the happiness this Christmas Season, along with her kids who are also helping their mom.
After the crew left, Lorraine sent them a message of gratitude: “Please tell Secret Santa how grateful my family is. How grateful I am. I can’t even begin to express how much gratitude I feel. This was truly a Christmas miracle for us.”
The video shared by the local news already gathered more than 80 thousand views just a day after it was posted on their Youtube channel.
