Outsmarting a parent, especially a dad, is one of the worst decisions a child is going to make in life. Dads are extremely experienced in life and no one would ever try to outplay them in any way.
Dads are like mind readers.
They have this unknown ability to read what’s in their children’s minds.
However, recently, we’ve been seeing a lot of dad pranks or dad challenges on the internet. And who’s playing tricks on dads? It’s none other than their children.
A lot of these kids succeeded in playing tricks on their dads, but there are some who hilariously failed.
The daughter in this video is one of those “failed pranksters”.
In this clip uploaded by RM Videos, a daughter tried to outsmart her dad by giving him a challenge. Unfortunately, when she thought she was going to make fun out of her dad’s misery, the outcome turned out to be the opposite.
The daughter starts by explaining the challenge:
“Alright, so you have to get the five-dollar bill without moving the hand sanitizer… or knocking it over. And if you can’t do it, then I get the five dollars.”
To someone who hasn’t seen a video like this before, the challenge sure is close to impossible to accomplish.
Dad quickly gives up?
Right after his daughter explains the mechanics of the challenge, dad immediately says:
“Okay. But I can’t do it.”
Isn’t it too early to concede? We know dads, they are brave and they are supposed to be the foundation of the family. But for this dad to surrender that easily?
There must be a catch right here.
Then dad continues by saying:
“Because that’s (pointing to the hand sanitizer bottle) glued to the five-dollar bill.”
What’s about to happen next is nowhere near the daughter’s wildest imaginations.
Dad leaves his daughter in total disbelief.
Right when dad said the five-dollar bill and the hand sanitizer bottle are glued to each other, the daughter says “no, it’s not”. Then she does the one and only thing dad has been waiting for her to do.
His daughter has to prove the bill isn’t glued to the hand sanitizer bottle. And how does she prove it?
By lifting the hand sanitizer bottle.
As soon as the daughter lifts the bottle, dad quickly snatches the 5-dollar bill!
He’s able to grab the prize in a flash, then he casually says:
“Cheers!”
Dad walks off the scene like a “boss” and leaves his daughter speechless and in total awe of what just happened.
She tries to stop dad and tell him that’s not how it should be done. But you know, dads are clever and they can make anything happen – their way!
Turns out, a lot of other dads have been outsmarting pranksters.
Just like this daughter who got outplayed by her father on the famous “Copy Me Challenge” which became popular in TikTok.
Does he know the drill on the challenge or is he just really smart?
