Is anything better than ice cream? Cold, creamy goodness, especially on a hot, sizzling day. I think I’ve just reconfirmed it for myself— there is literally nothing better than ice cream. Unfortunately, I was much too young to be able to remember my first time tasting this amazing cold treat. But luckily, with the help of YouTube and 19-month old Ty’s amazing parents, being able to see this reaction is almost just as good.
In this video, published to YouTube by Rumble Viral earlier this month, we see a little toddler name Ty having his very first taste of chocolate ice cream! Luckily for us, a family member was there to capture the hilarious moment which has since been viewed over 58,000 times!
The video description sets the scene, reading, “Ty is 19 months old. His uncle gives him some chocolate ice cream, but he didn’t expect it to be so cold!”
As the video begins, we see Ty being given a spoonful of chocolate ice cream from his uncle. Although he originally looks excited about a taste, the minute the cold hits his mouth, his expression begins to pucker.
The adults around Ty immediately start laughing, and the little guy makes hilarious faces for the next few seconds. Soon after, he starts lightly tapping his head with a confused look on his face, and it doesn’t take a child psychologist to tell you that Ty is giving out the universal symbol for “brain freeze”.
As Ty’s brain freeze starts to wear off, his fun-loving uncle decides to see if he would like another bite. And, like any other ice cream lover, Ty does not hesitate for even a sec. The boy’s mouth hovers near his uncle’s spoon, anxiously awaiting another chocolatey taste.
This time, however, when the ice cream touches his lips, instead of expressions, Ty just starts to laugh— one of those amazing free-spirited, jolly, gut-busting laughs that are the very best ones.
As mentioned, since being posted Ty’s introduction to ice cream has been viewed over 58,000 times! People just can’t get enough of the toddler’s pure emotions of joy and surprise. In a world where people are often busy and in a rush, this video is a great reminder to always appreciate the small stuff.
