It’s no surprise: little kids love dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs are something we learn about pretty early as children—probably because it’s so amazing that these huge creatures ever existed. If you’re anything like me, you can still remember the first time you ever saw Jurassic Park and were completely blown away by it.
Still, some kids end up loving dinosaurs just a little more than others.
One little boy named Noel Hopkins is particularly taken with these huge creatures.
In a story out of Inverness, Scotland, little Noel is quickly going viral as a result of a video taken by his mother, Laura Hopkins. As many of us may remember, it can be pretty addictive as a kid to memorize and categorize all different species of dinosaurs by name.
Still, it’s hard to beat how cute Noel is while he’s doing it!
With mom’s help, Noel moves through a whole range of dinosaur toys—and successfully names them all.
Even though Noel is only two years old, he seems to have an incredible memory. Throughout the video, his mom presents him with a dino toy and asks him to name it. Needless to say, he breezes through them all with ease. There’s the Diplodocus, the Triceratops and the T-Rex.
When he gets to the T-Rex, Noel lets out an adorable roar.
Although Noel’s knowledge is impressive, he’s stealing the hearts of millions for other reasons as well.
Apart from the beautiful interaction between Noel and his mom, there’s also Noel himself to consider. His big, round glasses are sure to make the ladies swoon and his Toy Story onesie has established his place as a fashion icon. Even cuter, though, is how well mannered Noel is for such a little guy.
Every time his mom gives him a toy, he names it, takes it, and says thank you.
Noel’s enthusiasm is contagious.
The appeal of this clip is easy to see: watching Noel play with his toys, I’m reminded right away what it was like to be a kid again. On a particularly stressful day, it can be comforting to remember the old days of playing with your mom and dad, remembering dinosaur names and living in a land of make believe.
Still, this isn’t Noel’s first time going viral.
This is such the latest in the many exploits of cute little Noel Hopkins. Anyone who is a fan should also check out this classic clip. Although Noel is very well-mannered in the above video, this one proves that he can be a little trickster as well.
