Children quickly get used to their parents’ appearance. So when a parent changes their appearance it is quite startling to the child.
So much so that they might not even recognize their parent.
We’ve seen this happen in lots of videos where dads cut their hair or beards and their children freak out because they think he’s a stranger.
This video is a little bit different. In this video, this little boy is playful pulling at his mother’s hair.
He just has no idea that it’s a wig.
But his mom did and she knew exactly how he was going to react when it finally pulled it off. She thought it was hilarious. Him… not so much.
But she caught the whole thing on video and we think it’s hilarious too.
The look on this kid’s face is just too funny
“He’s going to pull it too hard and it’s going to come off,” she says laughing.
The little boy looks pretty happy tugging at his mom’s wig until it starts to slide back. He seems to sense that there is something wrong but he goes on tugging.
Then disaster strikes.
Eventually, the wig slides back and completely off. His eyes go really wide and large and he looks completely panicked. He knows he did something wrong.
It’s like he thinks he broke his mom. And his mom is just reveling in it.
“Look at him, look at him!” she says laughing.
The boy quickly offers the wig back to his mom. But she’s just laughing too hard right now. He then tries to place it back on her head for her with a worried little moan.
He really starts panicking and is kind of yelling at her in a baby sort of way.
It’s like he’s begging her to take it back and put it back on.
He looks like he’s seriously freaking out as he’s desperately trying to get her wig back on.
His mother is basically cackling with laughter at this point.
“Oh sweet Lord,” she says through her laugh-cry.
I’m not sure what’s funnier his reaction or hers. The video has gone viral across the internet and has been shown on various media outlets across the world.
“Now at this very moment when he gets older he gonna ask every female if her hair real or is it a wig b4 he pulls it,” said one Facebook user
“LMAO! Every guy when they figure out the woman lied about it being real hair,” said another.
