If you’ve seen the feature-length film “Trolls” by DreamWorks Animation you’ll know how awesome it is. I mean, I don ‘t even have kids and I absolutely loved it.

Not only did it remind me of the cute little Troll dolls I used to play with as a kid (my fav were the ones with jewels in their belly button) but it was so well done.

It has a great all-star cast featuring Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, and Zoe Deschanel.

All of the music is soo good and darn it is catchy. “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” is my jam! And I really appreciated all the messages about positive thinking. That’s why I’m really looking forward to the new Netflix cartoon series “Trolls: The Beat Goes On.”

This should come as a great relief to parents of Troll-obsessed kids who are craving some variety and regularly watch the movie several times a week and more times than they can count.

The new Netflix series will premiere on Jan. 19

“As Queen Poppy welcomes a new time of peace in Troll Village with parties, sports and holiday celebrations, Branch tries to be more fun-loving,” Netflix’s description of the show states.

Though Kendrick and Timberlake aren’t returning for the TV series, Kendrick’s “Pitch Perfect” co-star Skylar Astin and Amanda Leighton will be taking their place. Your kids will never know the difference!

A new era of peace is washing over Troll Village and as Poppy explains in the new trailer “it’s time for trolls and Bergens to be friends.”

“Now that peace has come to Troll Village, Queen Poppy throws a party so the Trolls can become friends with the Bergens,” the trailer’s caption reads. “If only it were that easy!”

The problem is that the Trolls aren’t quite ready to let down their guard and welcome the Bergens into their village.

“If we’re gonna get along… we all need to change,” Poppy explains.

And boy, is she right!

I can’t wait to hear all the great messages the show will have as the Trolls and Bergens join forces to create a better world. I guess we’ll just have to wait until the 19th to see what happens. From the looks of the trailer, it will be worth the wait!
