A lot of us feel very fortunate to have grown up with siblings. Despite the fact that there were probably times of bickering and teasing – a brother or sister is usually the first person to have your back when needed.

There’s an adorable video floating around TikTok that shows the strong bond between two twin boys. If you haven’t seen it yet, prepare to have your heart melted!

A mom and TikTok user named Megan managed to film the sweetest scene down by a creek one day. Her video’s been viewed over 14.6 million times so far!

It all starts with one of her three children swirling a stick in the water.

Whoops.

When it comes to kids and playing outside, things tend to get messy. So it’s not very surprising that the boy accidentally loses his balance and falls in the shallow water, getting all wet! Luckily, he quickly crawls out with Megan taking his arm at the end.

He tells his mom, “I’m okay!”

Megan stays calm and turns it into a teachable moment.

She says to him, “You got out, that was good!” He happily agrees, “Yeah, that was good!”

So like any kid who’s excited about an accomplishment, he decides to tell his sibling about it. The boy looks at his soaking wet twin in the cutest way. Wait, what did I just miss here?

Megan’s son admits he was scared – but seems very proud he “got out!”

His identical twin brother then brings up their floaties…

This is where the video takes a heartwarming turn.

As the boys start walking through the grass, the “dry” twin assures his brother (and Mom) that he tried to save the day. He tells them,

“I came running to help! I came running to help!”

This kid’s got his brother’s back.

We’re fortunate to have cell phones at our fingertips, as they allow us to capture some of life’s most precious and unexpected moments. Megan, who’s from Alabama, caught one of them as she continued to film her boys.

The kid grabs his brother by the arms and tells him, “I’ll come run and help you!” Awww!

It’s not the only uplifting video on Megan’s TikTok page.

The mom currently has over 272K followers and 9.4 million “likes” in total. By no surprise, her kids have stolen the internet’s heart!

These brothers have a really special bond.

When interviewing with TODAY Parents, Megan explained that her twins don’t like being apart from one another – even if it’s just for a short time. You can see simply through this clip how close they are! Surely the boy would have done anything to help out his bro, which is just one of the awesome things about having a sibling.

Others have praised Megan over her reaction after her son accidentally toppled in, then climbed right out.

“As a swim instructor I’m glad to see a parent reinforcing safety techniques and not the fear of falling in. Great job!”
