All over the world, countless people dream of becoming a parent and welcoming their own little bundle of joy into the world. It’s an ambition for so many people to become a mom or dad someday, and while many people have no problems at all bringing this dream to life, there are many others who struggle with fertility problems and other issues that make the process a whole lot harder.

Beata Bienias was one of those people.

The 36-year-old Polish woman, who lives in Corsham in England, had been trying to have a baby with her husband for several years, to no avail.

As soon as the pair got married, they both knew they wanted kids and tried to make one, but all their efforts proved fruitless. Even when they tried to get help from a fertility clinic, nothing seemed to work. Doctors told Beata that her health was the problem.

She was suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome, as well as being clinically overweight, and the fertility specialists told her that if she wanted a better chance of having a baby, she needed to make some changes in her life, starting with a big diet.

Many people might have given up hope of ever having a baby at that point, but Beata was determined to become a mother.

In 2017, she signed up for a weight loss program and finally started to get back down to a healthier weight, losing 70 pounds in total. At that point, she was able to start IVF treatment, in which embryos were transferred into her body in the hope that one of them would survive and develop into a baby.

Just a couple of weeks after her embryo transfer, Beata got some extraordinary news: she was pregnant!

She was expecting a little girl and already picked out a name: Amelia. But what Beata didn’t know is that there wasn’t just one baby growing inside her. Just a couple of weeks after getting the good news, she and her husband went for a prenatal scan. There, the ultrasound technician discovered something amazing and told the couple to brace themselves for a huge surprise.

She asked Beata’s husband to sit down before revealing that Beata was actually expecting three babies, not just one.

Beata described the moment as “amazing and unbelievable”, but there was even more surprising news in store.

It turned out that the babies weren’t all from the IVF treatment. Only one of them was a result of the embryo transfer. The other two had been conceived totally naturally!

So after all those years of trying to have a baby and failing, Beata and her husband suddenly found themselves with three of them on the way!

Fertility experts have been blown away by the story, calling it “almost impossible”, but it really did happen and all three of Beata’s children were delivered successfully.

The babies names are Amelia, Matylda and Borys, and Beata says that she and her husband have faced a few challenges handling all those little ones all at once, but are both so happy to finally be parents.
